Racing against the clock

Some fun things on the horizon, but racing against the clock right now.  We take the kids out of school to go to Disney World in four days.  What were we thinking?  I guess the free Disney Dining captivated us and put us under its spell.

So many design projects, home work projects for the kids and favors for friends, not to mention housework and laundry needing to be done.  And, to top it off, I ended up in slow, slow gear last week, sick with the flu.  Each of the kids have been sick and one seems to be getting sicker as the weekend progresses.  Dropped off the husband at the airport this morning for a quick trip to IL for business.  We are hoping he makes it back in time to travel to Orlando with us, or we will be modifying his travel plans and just pick him up at the airport in Orlando.  He packed his vacation suitcase ahead of time, just in case.  This ‘aint our first rodeo.  We’ve had too many plans changd due to getting stuck in airports over the years.

Some sweet friends are getting married in a couple of months and I’m going to miss an engagement shower while I’m gone.  I got to get together with that family and take engagement pictures for them Friday night.  I think they turned out pretty cute.  I just have to finish editing them and work them into a gift to send for the shower.

My oldest son and I went out in the rain yesterday, which didn’t help us being sick, to help sell popcorn for the Cub Scouts.  Our youngest child’s soccer game was cancelled due to the rain (relieved) and that gave us a couple of  hours to rest before going to my sweet baby niece’s 1st birthday party.  She is such a cutie and had so much fun!  Happy Birthday Breanna!

Fun, fun times….just hoping and praying that everyone gets on the path to full health and that I don’t seem too loopy with my mind going in 12 diffrent directions at once.

It is time to put the kids to bed (yippee) and do some quick carpet shampooing before getting back to work on design projects.
